Photo: © TERRE DES FEMMESOn 23rd of September 2016, FSAN was hosting the Coordination Meeting for all Project Partners of the CHANGE Plus project, which is co-funded by the European Union, in Amsterdam. All of the European project partners – TERRE DES FEMMES, AIDOS, APF, Coventry University, End FGM, Equipop, FSAN and Plan Stiftung – were participating in the meeting.

On the meeting’s agenda were the following issues:

• Round of Updates of the last six months activities
• Update of project management and coordination
• Presentation of community mapping and project evaluation
• Discussion of CHANGE Agent trainings and community activities as well as the leadership trainings
• Debate on the planned video film about FGM
• Concept and planning of the final conference

A parallel session for the community trainers gave space for mutual exchange; to discuss different approaches, training methods, and challenges in working with communities. Further the planning, supervision and evaluation of behaviour change activities was discussed.

The meeting gave the opportunity to discuss the project activities of the last six months and those who are coming, to evaluate the project’s progress, and to exchange experiences. Moreover it strengthens the relationship and cooperation culture between the project partners.
